Policy Update for Collaborated Rental Report by Rent.PH
As of February 23, 2025
Current Policy:
- Individual Rent Managers will remit to Rent.PH the 20% of their respective commission receipt as remittance.
- Each agent must submit their respective remittance slip, proof of remittance (with reference number) and first page of the lease contract to Boss Robert Joni Laurente.
- Boss Robert will be one signing the remittance slips and will give it back to the Rent Manager once accomplished to each agent separately.
- Each agent will encode their respective remittance slip in the LR and EMPIRE Pro App for Sales Validation.
New & Updated Policy:
- One of the involved Rent Managers will remit to Rent.PH the 20% of the entire commission receipt for both agents as remittance.
- The remitting agent must submit 2 remittance slips (Both Listing and Client Agent's Remittance Slips), proof of remittance for the entire commission receipt (with reference number) and first page of the lease contract to Boss Robert Joni Laurente.
- Boss Robert will be the one signing both remittance slips and will give it back to the remitting agent once accomplished.
- Each agent will encode their respective remittance slip in the LR and EMPIRE Pro App for Sales Validation.
Team EMPIRE's Adoption of the Updated Rent.PH Policy
The agent who receives the commission on a collaborated rental transactions, for most cases, the Listing Agent, shall act as the remitting agent. For this purpose, remitting agent is defined as "one of the party, may it be the listing agent or the client agent, who will perform the actual remittance to Filipino Homes in a particular collaborated rental transaction".
STEP 1: REMIT TO RENT.PH
- The remitting agent, upon receipt of the commission and notarized lease contract, shall remit to Rent.PH the 20% of the entire commission receipt.
- For example, if the commission received by the listing agent from the lessor is Php 20,000.00, as supported by an acknowledgement receipt signed by the receiving agent and the lessor, the remitting agent must remit 20% of the entire Php 20,000.00, which is Php 4,000.00.

STEP 2: PREPARE TWO (2) REMITTANCE SLIPS
- The remitting agent must prepare two (2) remittance slips: 1) for himself/herself as the listing agent, and 2) for his/her partner agent. Please be informed that the Closing Agent and the Partner Agent for each remittance slips must be inverted. Below is an example of remittance slip.
- The amount received and the (20%) Share of Rent.PH for each remittance slip must be based on the commission split of the collaboration (may it be 50/50, 60/40, or 70/30). To know more about the difference of these splits, kindly refer HERE
- For example, for a Php 20,000.00 commission, with a 50/50 split, and a Php 4,000.00 remittance:
- Amount Received: Php 10,000.00 for each remittance slips.
- The (20%) Share of Rent.PH: Php 2,000.00 for each remittance slips.
- For example, for a Php 20,000.00 commission, with a 70/30 split, and a Php 4,000.00 remittance:
- Amount Received: Php 14,000.00 for the agent receiving 70% and Php 6,000.00 for the agent receiving 30%.
- The (20%) Share of Rent.PH: Php 2,800.00 for the agent receiving 70% and Php 1,200.00 for the agent receiving 30%.
STEP 3: SUBMIT REMITTANCE REQUIREMENTS
- The remitting agent shall be the one to submit the following to Boss Robert Joni Laurente for validation:
- Two (2) remittance slips;
- Proof of remittance for the entire amount (with reference number); and
- The first page of the lease contract.
STEP 4: UPLOAD YOUR SIGNED REMITTANCE SLIP TO LR & EMPIRE PRO
- Once the signed remittance slips are received, the remitting agent must send the partner agent's signed remittance slip to his/her collab for LR and EMPIRE Pro App uploading for Sales Validation Purposes and Final Recording.
